Tina and Amanda

Tina Louise is a popular American writer, singer and actress who is well-known for her character Ginger Grant in the 1960s TV show Gilligan's Island. The Bettle's Two's Company musical was the first production she acted in during her stage debut. She continued to perform in various Broadway productions before making it big on the national theatre scene with Li'l Abner's in the year 1957. She also released her first album of music, It's Time For Tina that same year. Louise's first foray into Hollywood was as Griselda as Griselda in the film God's Small Acre, which was a 1958 film. The film received widespread praise. Louise won the Golden Globe Award in the New Star of the year category. While a student of Lee Strasberg, she attended the Actors Studio New York. Another notable character she played as Ginger Grant, which CBS hired her for in 1964. Louise Balfour managed to juggle between Broadway as well as Hollywood acting as a sombre character contrast to her image of an attractive doll. Amanda Tapping..........................Amanda Tapping is best known for her acting roles as Samantha Carter in the series Stargate. The series starred her as SG-1's Helen Magnus and Sanctuary. But, over the last few years she was also a prominent director on popular TV programs like Supernatural and The 100. Born in Essex on August 28, 1965. She and her family moved to Toronto when she was three and she continued to live there throughout in the adolescent years and childhood. Her home was in Vancouver following her selection to play Samantha Carter.
