Ali MacGraw
Ali MacGraw, also known as Elizabeth Alice MacGraw, is an American designer and author who has received numerous awards for her work. She is a proponent of human rights for animals. Love Story (1970), Goodbye Columbus '69 and The Getaway 72 are among her most well-known films. She was drawn to becoming an artist was in part influenced from her childhood as a member of the New York family of artists. When she was a photographer's assistant, she turned her attention to modeling and acting. The award she received was the Golden Globe Award, for the most promising debutant. The MacGraw's Love Story from 1970 was one of the biggest hits that gained her fame worldwide and also an Academy Award nominee and Golden Globe Award. She was named the best female box-office actress in the globe after just three films. In 1972, her foot-prints and autograph were recorded on the wall of Grauman's Chinese Theater. She was a part of several different films, such as The Getaway Convoy Players and television miniseries The Winds of War among others. Her autobiography Moving Pictures was published in 1991. MacGraw was married three times.
